Simple by design

List. Find. Contact. Receive.

ChurchShare is deliberately simple: no prices, no checkout, no delivery booking, no messaging inbox.

  1. 1

    List

An approved church lists equipment it no longer needs, with up to five photos, a description, condition and location.

  2. 2

    Find

Anyone can browse and search by category, condition, postcode and distance. Churches can also post what they need in Wanted.

  3. 3

    Contact

An approved church sends a request with a short message and agrees to share its details. We email the giving church those details.

  4. 4

    Receive

The giver reserves the item for one church, which hides it from browsing. Arrange collection or shipping directly with the other church. If you cannot collect, you would normally cover the shipping costs, unless you agree otherwise. The arrangements are entirely between you. Once the item is collected or sent, the giver confirms they have handed it over. Sending it is not the same as receiving it, so the gift is only complete when the receiving church confirms it arrived. Then it is recorded in both histories.

Who can take part?

Anyone can browse. To list or request items, UK churches and church plants of every denomination register and are approved by our team.

What ChurchShare doesn't do

We don't inspect, test, transport, guarantee or take ownership of equipment. All arrangements happen directly between churches.

Arrange collection or shipping directly with the other church. If you cannot collect, you would normally cover the shipping costs, unless you agree otherwise. The arrangements are entirely between you. Items are always free. Agreeing who covers shipping is not a sale, and ChurchShare never charges fees.
